He explains that a lot of time and research went into developing the diverse menu at Malabar. “There’s no reason why you can’t eat burgers and pizzas in a nice restaurant, even if your partner wants to order ahi tuna or a fillet of beef. We pay a lot of attention to spice and seasoning. The steaks are done on grills over an open fire pit. Our restaurants are all scratch kitchens. We make everything in house. We offer simple and delicious food, prepared and presented well.”
When asked how he stays so trim when constantly surrounded by such delicious food, he replied with a smile, “Big shirts. Big shirts.”
In addition to having wonderful food in a comfortable atmosphere, every Saturday night Malabar entertains with jazz and R&B on the patio.
