Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
It found me. Since I was very young, I always remember being happy and content around people who were cooking, eating or selling food. I loved learning about food and I especially enjoyed experimenting with new foods. I was fortunate enough to be able to learn first-hand about foods while working at my father's grocery store for many summers and every school holiday. I dealt with people who were farmers, and entrepreneurs with various kinds of businesses making and selling different kinds of foods, or importing unique food items from other countries. As the years went by and after offering numerous dinners and parties to friends who kept suggesting that I should make it a business, I found myself volunteering to give cooking classes on Greek cuisine; and shortly after, I organized my own cooking classes and expanded them to include a lot of other services. I am a people person, so I love to be in a business where I am surrounded by people constantly and am able to offer my services to them.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
I am a member of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce and have donated my services to fundraising events.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
We pay attention to the details.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
I strive to live my life with honesty and integrity every day.
What’s your hidden talent?
Where’s your favorite local place to eat?
Fat’s Asia Bistro.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
Family lunches on Sundays, and the occasional visit to a local café for scrumptious desserts.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Mother Teresa – to learn from her compassion and positive outlook on human nature. She always believed in the goodness of people, which is very admirable.
What’s your favorite local event that you go to?
Local farmers markets. I love buying fresh fruit and vegetables and actually talking with the local farmers who grow them. I learn a lot from them.
If you could be any other profession what would it be?

Delivering the services the customer wants with courtesy and a smile!
