Medium-well, lettuce, onions and tomatoes, but hold the pickles.
This has been a classic original burger order for myself since my first backyard BBQ, as a five-year-old. Burgers are simply my safe zone at certain restaurants and never seem to let me down. While shopping in El Dorado Hills one afternoon with one of my best girlfriends, we decided to try the eye-catching Relish Burger Bar. We chose to dine at a trendy, yet sophisticated booth inside. With a huge appetite and so many tasteful burger options, our waiter Chris, suggested the Gilroy Garlic and Jalapeno Burger. The Burger consists of Black Angus with pepper jack, pickled jalapeno and roasted garlic aioli. Our mouths watered as we placed the order and began our girl time with catch-up gossip while we waited.
We gazed around the very modern and chic dining room as it started to fill up with friendly faces. With spacious half circle booths on the restaurant’s perimeter and cozy family tables in the center, there was ample seating for any group of friends or relatives joining for lunch or dinner. The well-dressed full bar that separated the outside dining area from the inside, along with the very charismatic and attentive staff, made Relish Burger a comfortable and alluring environment to savor a tasty signature burger.
Our Gilroy Garlic and Jalapeno burger quickly arrived along with sweet potato fries. That’s right, divine savory sweet potato fries were plate-side, next to what we soon realized was the best burger we’ve had in a very long time! With pickled jalapeno, this signature burger gave a flirtatious spice balanced by roasted garlic aioli that had our taste buds in burger heaven. Relish Burger along with their jazzy bar, offers an array of creatively-constructed martinis. So the next time you are looking for a fulfilling burger entrée, stop by Relish Burger Bar and let your taste buds take a test drive for themselves.
