Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
We provide themed parties for boys and girls ages 4-16. My daughter and I were discussing my grandson’s upcoming 10th birthday and wondering where to have it. We had already exhausted all the local birthday party spots and were looking for something not only new, but somewhere the kids would all engage with each other rather than scatter off on their own. We started fantasizing about a place that would offer different themes; a place where kids could go back every year for a different party; a place where everything was taken care of for the parents, from the invitations right down to the party favors. The idea for The Birthday Bash was born!
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
In order to create a strong sense of community, The Birthday Bash has joined the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce and has donated parties to many of the local school’s PTA fundraising efforts. We work closely with our parents to ultimately give our birthday kids the best birthday party they’ve ever had.
Why is your staff the best in the business?
My staff of high school-aged party hosts and hostesses have trained hard to provide a high-energy, fun and exciting environment, which ultimately provides our birthday boys and girls, and their guests, with a memorable birthday bash.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Seeing the absolute joy that a great birthday party can bring to a child, and watching the parents actually get to enjoy their child’s party while we handle every detail!
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
We love to camp at Ice House; also, we go to Apple Hill in the fall, and Thursday Nights on Sutter Street in the summer.
What’s your favorite local business other than your own?
Visconti’s Ristorante in Folsom.
And finally, customer service is…?
Communicating intent and striving to exceed expectations.
Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at email@example.com. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
