Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
FancyPantsParties.com was inspired by our own parenting experiences. As a working couple, we understood how difficult it was to find time to do all the things we wanted to do for our children. This is especially true for special occasions like holidays and birthdays, when parents are trying to create special memories on a tight schedule and reasonable budget. FancyPantsParties.com eases the burden on busy parents by offering pre-planned dress-up party packages for children that include all the necessities. In addition to quality costume items for each guest, every themed package includes decorations, tableware, cutlery, invitations and thank you notes, favors with favor bags and birthday candles; also included is a theme-related craft project to keep guests entertained.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
Although we ship throughout the U.S., it is really important for us to build strong ties in the community where we live. We enjoyed taking part in some fun, local festivals this past summer and decorated one of the Christmas trees for “Wild Nights and Holiday Lights” at the Folsom Zoo. We look forward to building relationships with other businesses and families in the area.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Aside from the family we’ve built together, we’re really excited about taking the leap and embarking on this business and life adventure. It’s nice to think we are helping to create memories that many kids and parents alike will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Around our house, every day is a dress-up day. Watching our kids create their own ensembles – like an astronaut helmet with a princess cape and knight sword – never ceases to be amusing. We are expected to participate as well, which is probably entertaining for the neighbors when we forget that we’re wearing ladybug antennae as we head outside to grab the mail.
Do you know that our editorial is not paid for, nor can it be purchased? In fact, our Introducing and Dine reviews are not paid advertisements. If you’d like your business profiled, please email Wendy Sipple at email@example.com. Once we determine when your business will be featured, we will contact you to schedule a time to come out and take a photograph. Thank you!
