The Folsom woman implicated in the death of a top Google executive last year pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges Tuesday.

According to reports, Alix Tichelman, 27, will serve up to six years in prison for involuntary manslaughter and giving a lethal dose of drugs to Forrest Timothy Hayes last year aboard his private yacht in Santa Cruz.

Prosecutors said Tichelman worked as a high-end prostitute and had a sexual relationship with Hayes that would also include the use of illegal drugs.

The evening of his death, Tichelman injected him with a lethal dose of heroin, prosecutors said.  Police also said Tichelman did nothing to help revive Hayes, a 51-year-old married father of five.

According to KCRA, Tichelman was living with her parents in Folsom at the time of her arrest.
