Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on October 24 & 25

One of my fondest memories from 2014 took place last September when I attended Monster Energy’s Aftershock Festival. As my accomplice and I headed down to Discovery Park in Sacramento I remember feeling super excited. As we parked and headed through the entrance gates I saw a sea of people, everyone there waiting in anticipation to watch some of their favorite bands play and those bands did not disappoint. Those two days were filled with so many great performances, memories with friends and fun. So when I saw that Aftershock was returning this year to a new location, Gibson Ranch in Sacramento, I didn’t waist any time getting tickets. Again the lineup this year is just as incredible as last year. With over 45 bands set to hit the stage I know Aftershock will be awesome again this time around. This year along with a new location, Aftershock has added some really cool attractions. Some of those include a Friday night pre-party at Slipknot’s Scream Park in Sacramento, wrestling matches by WWE’s NXT wrestlers taking place on Saturday and Sunday and camping at Gibson Ranch (if they haven’t sold out already).
