Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
I offer a wide range of design services. I used to work for an office, and then decided to stay home with my two children. When work kept coming my way, I decided to start a home-based business. My husband and I also started an app called Shiny Objects for Babies.
What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?
An architectural drafter—I not only learned a lot about architecture, but also graphic design and became the “graphic person” of the office.
How are you involved with both the community and your customer?
I volunteer for a local nonprofit designing flyers and ads. For my customers, I offer very responsive customer service and custom designs that truly fit them.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?
My family. We truly support each other in our decisions and business ethics.
What’s your hidden talent?
What’s your biggest job perk?
Working from home with my children.
What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?
Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?
We go to all of the great parks in Folsom (there are so many!).
What’s your favorite local event that you go to?
Folsom Glow Run
And finally, customer service is…?
When you create a design made out of the client’s description and turn their imagination into reality.
