Celebration of Independence Gala

Approximately 400 guests attended this 16th annual gala hosted by Women’s Empowerment, which raised more than $200,000 for the organization’s comprehensive job-readiness program for women who are homeless in Sacramento.

Country Dance Class
June 29 // Arthur Murray Dance Center, Folsom
Arthur Murray Dance Center kicked off summer with a community class where attendees learned popular line dances such as the Electric Slide, Tush Push, Watermelon Crawl, and Country Western.

July 14 // Bogle Vineyards, Clarksburg
Bogle Vineyards invited A Touch of Understanding (ATOU) from Granite Bay to be the featured nonprofit for their Friday Alfresco, an after-hours event at the tasting room. Attendees listened to live music and enjoyed local food trucks while getting information about ATOU’s disability-awareness program. Bogle donated event proceeds to ATOU.

Full STEAM Ahead Children’s Academy OPEN HOUSE

Full STEAM Ahead (FSA) Children’s Academy shared the debut of their new Da Vinci STEM Lab and Picasso Creative Arts Studio with the community at its Folsom Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees indulged in dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes and refreshments from Snowie Magic, while participating in fun STEM activities.
