1st Annual Weaster’s Cornhole Tournament & FUNdraiser

SAVE THE DATE – November 4, 2017

This November 4th, Weaster’s Warriors will host the 1st Annual Weaster’s Cornhole Tournament & FUNdraiser. This is a benefit to raise money for Jenny Weast’s caregivers. It will be the first of its kind and we expect participants from throughout Roseville and surrounding communities to attend. The event will be held at the Roseville Sport Center and include live bands, dinner, silent auction, raffle and a cornhole tournament. This FUNdraiser will help with the expense of Jenny’s caregivers so she can keep teaching at Oakmont High School and maintain her independence long term. It will also increase awareness of the continued need to pursue changes to the federal and state laws that inhibit others like Jenny who reject dependence on the government and who choose instead the independence and dignity of work. The event will unite families and friends who understand the challenges that Jenny has faced as an individual with higher level disabilities and want to support her in many ways. This event is sponsored by Journey to Independence, a 501(c)3 organization EIN: 35-2552742. All charitable contributions made will be tax deductible. If you are making a financial contribution, please make check payable to: ‘Weaster’s Warriors’ and send to Jackie Michaels, 2452 Luciana Way, Roseville, CA 95661. If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Michaels, event treasurer, at michaelsbunch@comcast.net. Link to Jenny’s Story: https://goo.gl/39eg9A
