The Placer SPCA is about to enter the busy holiday season completely at cat-pacity. To make room, the Placer SPCA is waiving all adoption fees for cats over one year old from Thursday, October 19 through Sunday, October 22.

Some of the cats available during the Flash Feline Adoptions promotion can be seen online at placerspca.org/cats. The adoption fee ordinarily ranges from $25 to $99.

The organization is hosting the Flash Feline Adoptions promotion this weekend to clear the full cat condos and community cat rooms at their Roseville, Auburn, and Pet Food Express adoption locations. Almost every condo and room is filled, with many housing multiple cats. While families still arrive to adopt at the same rate, the number of cats on the intake side of the center has spiked in the recent weeks.

“October has been one of our busiest cat months in quite some time,” said Leilani Fratis, CEO of the Placer SPCA. “We hope this Flash Feline Adoptions promotion inspires families to consider adopting. What better way to enjoy the cozy fall weather and the upcoming holidays than cuddled next to your furry friend?”

The Placer SPCA adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam. Certain exclusions to the Flash Feline Adoptions promotion may apply.

For information about the Placer SPCA’s hours, locations, and list of adoptable animals, visit www.placerspca.org or call 916-782-7722 (Roseville) or 530-823-7722 (Auburn).
