New exhibit at Gallery at 48 Natoma: “Local Color: Stories of our Members"
January 26 to March 10, 2018
The Gallery at 48 Natoma starts out the New Year with an outstanding exhibit of art quilts of the Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) in an exciting bi-coastal fiber exchange in January 2018. This exhibit, Local Color: Stories of Our Members, is a testament to the power of Studio Art Quilt Associates: to promote the art quilt and build a community of fiber artists. The exhibit opens on Friday, January 26 and continues through March 10, 2018. In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, local artists from the Folsom Arts Association will be on display from January 19 to March 1, 2018. The public is invited to celebrate both exhibits at the free opening reception on Friday, January 26 from 6:00 to 8:00, with refreshments, wine and live jazz guitar music by Peter Morgan. The galleries are located in the 48 Natoma Senior and Art Center; regular hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with extended hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
