Folsom Event: New Exhibit at Gallery at 48 Natoma: Feast for the Eyes
May 11 to June 28, 2018 – Opening Reception - Friday, May 11, 2018, 6:00-8:00pm
Springtime is the season for the ripening of fruit, bushels of zucchini from the backyard garden and trips to the farmer’s market. Artists have been capturing the season’s bounty for centuries in realistic representations in still life studies. In the next exhibit at the Gallery at 48 Natoma, two prolific artists will display their images of fruits and vegetables. “Feast for the Eyes,” will highlight incredible scratchboard paintings by Linda Heath Clark and lovely oil paintings by Craig Stephens. A selection of vintage fruit crate label original lithographs from the collection of Thomas Pat Jacobsen will also be on display.
In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, The El Dorado Hills Arts Association's works with over 50 artists from 20 studios will be on display from May 3 to June 21, 2018. Open Studio weekend June 9 & 10, from 10am-5pm.
The gallery is free and open to the public and art is available for purchase. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm, with additional hours Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm and Second Saturdays of each month from 9am-1pm. Free tours can be arranged by appointment. For more information contact Gallery Director Cindy Abraham, (916) 355-7285, or email@example.com.
